The British clients asked us to design a comfortable and spacious house for them. They wanted to spend their holidays in Crete, enjoying the atmosphere of family reunions together with their children and grandchildren: we did our best to fulfil their wishes, in spite of a limited budget. The house is built in an olive grove, and the natural slope of the ground hides it from the road. It is a two-storey house, featured by simple lines and harmonious proportions. A large balcony looks out on the hills and on the swimming pool surrounded by shady olive trees. Indoors, the rooms are well lit and spacious. The generously sized sitting room with kitchen is designed to allow ample space to family life.
