The two-storey house has a total area of 214 m2; consists of one old, stone building, renovated, and a new three-storey building. The atrium is the central point, from which all the rooms of the house radiate, in a continuum of inside and outside spaces. There are two double bedrooms each complete with bathroom, and a studio with a mezzanine bedroom, bathroom and kitchenette with a separate entrance that can be used as a guesthouse.

There are double glazed windows with mosquito blinds throughout and solar panels provide hot water and under floor heating. A wood burning stove is situated at the base of the atrium providing additional heating for both the dining room and the lounge.
